Hi there, this is an update of the patient with Parkinsonian tremor.
Also, there's an important FAQ at the bottom that clarifies the free trial. We've had several questions.
RECAP: 72-year-old male with a 9-month history of "Parkinsonian tremor" that was intermittent, right-sided, and large-amplitude, with a flexion pattern affecting the upper extremity more than the lower. Cervical retraction-extension abolished the right upper- and lower-extremity tremor during the session, and this improvement was maintained at subsequent follow-up. His only recurrence occurred during phone use and fine motor tasks. He wanted to discontinue L-DOPA, and I recommended that he see the prescribing physician. I progressed activation with a postural emphasis using a band.
UPDATE: Progressive loading with activation has not exposed anything. Tremors remain abolished. Fine motor skills have normalized with all activities, including phone use. He wants to return to golf and some weight lifting. I walked him through a pre-golf warm-up, post-golf routine, and postural considerations in the gym. Cervical MRI results are pending, and I'll send a quick update once we have them. I updated his HEP in the Atlas Health platform and scheduled him for a long-term follow-up. So, between sessions, I'll message him via the platform for updates and recommendations.
TAKEAWAY: His tremor is most certainly cervicogenic mechanical. Loading and activation did not expose any other underlying mechanical condition. It's a good sign that he wants to return to his usual activity. I will support his return to usual activities through follow-up on the Atlas platform.
Maintaining support during this full return-to-function phase is vital to his long-term outcome. The messaging function creates a time/date-stamped record of our interactions, so everything is in one place, easy to access, and track.
The videos below are examples of the full program I sent him for his HEP.
Until next time,

FAQs
- We've had several people ask if certain features are "subscription-only" during the free trial. You can use the full functionality for 5 patients. You won't be able to add the 6th patient until payment is made. So, add up to 5 patients, poke around, test it out, send messages, exercises, patient education, set alerts and outcome measures, everything, all you want...for 5 patients 🙂).
- We are serious, no credit card is needed for the free trial. The card is required only when you add the 6th patient. You create your account and start using it.
- You do need a subscription for white-labeling. It's just not cost-effective to white-label free trials. But white-labeling looks really nice and promotes brand recognition when you send programs to patients.
- The Cost: $49 per clinician per month or $490 per clinician per year.
- Yes, we offer enterprise subscriptions. Just send me an email.
- You can cancel anytime, and your account will be prorated.
- We can not make the avatar look like you yet. But if enough people want it, we can prioritize developing this option.
- We do have a female avatar, but not ready for production yet.
- Thank you, everyone, for your questions!!
